Arrived at the residence and proceeded with option one, pulling the toilet to access the main sewer line for drain cleaning, but the blockage could not be cleared from this entry point. An exterior cleanout was located and used for a backward cleaning attempt with a sewer machine, which also failed to fully clear the line, followed by a complimentary high-pressure jetter service run three times with only minimal success. Camera inspection after these efforts revealed a corroded section of pipe restricting further advancement, strongly indicating a break or collapse in the cast iron sewer line, consistent with the failure of multiple cleaning methods from two access points.
The repeated inability to clear the blockage despite aggressive cleaning from both interior and exterior points confirms a structural failure likely in the cast iron piping exiting the home. Arrived at property for leak coming from venting located in downstairs bathroom. Technician was informed that drip from venting would happen when upstairs bathtub is ran. Also was informed of bathtub issues with draining water. Recommended to cut access in downstairs ceiling below bathtub to confirm no drain issues are present before drain cleaning service due to leak. Please refer to attached estimate to cut access to inspect bathtub and subsequent piping located in ceiling. Psi to property is 42psi.
