Customer was experiencing a clog, found alarm to lift station going off, attempting to bypass float did not drain showing that pump was likely jammed, returned next day to perform work. Work performed as follows: Turned off breaker to lift station pump and drained basin of sewage, sprayed down and drained basin multiple times to ensure no foreign objects remained in basin that could jam pump. Once basin has been pumped out, sewage ejection grinder pump was disconnected and removed for inspection. Found wipes jamming the grinder pump blades as well as more wipes pulled out by the jetter Venturi pump. Unjammed blades by removing wipes and tested pump, reset pump into basin and filled basin until float switch was triggered to test all aspects of pump system.
Arrived at property to inspect lift station. Alarm has been tripped for lift station. Removed lid to basin and inspected station to be full. Attempted to bypass float to lift station and pump is not activating. Basin pimp will need to be removed and inspected for debris.
