Arrived at the residence to investigate a reported plumbing leak through the kitchen ceiling, which occurred while housekeepers were running the upstairs bathtub above the affected area.
Cut a 2x3-inch access hole in the drywall ceiling directly under the bathtub to visually inspect the tub waste, overflow, and drain assembly for signs of leakage or failure. The restoration company had already removed a larger section of drywall ceiling prior to and during testing procedures to aid in the diagnostic process.
Filled and drained the bathtub multiple times and operated all upstairs bathroom fixtures, observing no active leaks, drips, or moisture from any plumbing components during extensive testing. The restoration company's additional drywall removal also revealed no ongoing water intrusion from plumbing sources.

Customer called about a leak underneath bathroom sink. TP found water off to faucet. Turned water on and found a leak on supply line hose. Advised to replace supply line to faucet. Removed old supply lines. Furnished and installed two new supply lines to faucet. Tests for leaks and NO Leaks.
Customer had a leak on the ceiling.
Different contractor already opened up the ceiling.
Leak coming from master bathtub drain.
Work completed as follows;
Removed tub drain, removed old plumbers putty and debri around the drain.
Furnish and installed new tub drain and new seal.
Filled tub up multiple times and verified no leaks.
Noticed the front hose bibb has a leak, provided estimate on replacing.
Technician went to attempt an exploratory dig and found water leak appears to be coming from under the driveway. Technician shut off water at curb stop to this particular line/unit and found that the water stopped flowing from under the driveway, indicating that this is on the homeowners side. Technician wrote up a tentative quote on cutting concrete to perform further exploratory dig but recommends having leak detection locate exact spot to minimize concrete cutting/pricing.
Inspected 8” backflow preventer for a replacement estimate. The scope of work needed to complete the 8” backflow preventer replacement is outside of the typical service True Plumbing provides. Therefore, it is recommended to have a licensed and certified company replace the 8” backflow preventer.
Performed leak detection test on Unit D. Test showed the most likely spot for the leak is in the doorway of an office adjacent to the bathroom.
Concrete removal and water line repair are scheduled for tomorrow.
Cold water supply line for bathroom faucet was replaced during leak detection testing.
Unit D experiencing water leaking up from the floor of the front bathroom. Discussed options with Propery management for leak detection or breaking concrete to inspect for the leak. Property management opted to break concrete first. Broke concrete and exposed 3/4” water line that was in coming up from the slab. No leaks were detected on the 3/4” water line. Water appeared to be leaking from the left side of the bathroom once the concrete was broken. After more concrete was broken and dirt was removed, the source of the leak was not able to be found. Based off the information gathered during the speculative concrete removal/dig, recommended having a leak detection company come out to pinpoint the leak. This will minimize unnecessary concrete/floor removal.
Recommended property management leave water off over night as the leak is still active and has the potential to overflow up through the exposed floor. If water is turned on during the day, recommended the area is frequently observed
Arrived at business to finish installation of Flushometers on urinals. Shut down water each urinal and removed old flushometer. Installed new ones and checked for leaks. Found none. Both urinals are back to working normal operation. Thank you for choosing True plumbing for all your plumbing needs!
Arrived at property for urinal rebuilding and replacing insides of toilets. Replaced the fill valves and supply lines on all four toilets (men’s and women’s restrooms). Checked gaskets and flappers. Replaced flappers of two toilets. Pulled and reset upstairs men’s toilet. Reconnected to water and tested several times and found no leaks. Toilet is back to normal operation and is not moving. Please allow caulking to dry underneath for a couple hours before sitting on. Called supply company and ordered parts for urinal rebuilds. Will return Monday to install parts. Customer had water stains on ceiling below shower. Technician inspected area. Without cutting Sheetrock technician believes leak is either coming from a failed shower pan or getting past the shower door and through the floor (there is water damage on wood trim near shower door).
Water pressure to home is at a safe level at 60psi.
