Arrived at the residence and proceeded with option one, pulling the toilet to access the main sewer line for drain cleaning, but the blockage could not be cleared from this entry point. An exterior cleanout was located and used for a backward cleaning attempt with a sewer machine, which also failed to fully clear the line, followed by a complimentary high-pressure jetter service run three times with only minimal success. Camera inspection after these efforts revealed a corroded section of pipe restricting further advancement, strongly indicating a break or collapse in the cast iron sewer line, consistent with the failure of multiple cleaning methods from two access points. The repeated inability to clear the blockage despite aggressive cleaning from both interior and exterior points confirms a structural failure likely in the cast iron piping exiting the home. Arrived at property for leak coming from venting located in downstairs bathroom. Technician was informed that drip from venting would happen when upstairs bathtub is ran. Also was informed of bathtub issues with draining water. Recommended to cut access in downstairs ceiling below bathtub to confirm no drain issues are present before drain cleaning service due to leak. Please refer to attached estimate to cut access to inspect bathtub and subsequent piping located in ceiling. Psi to property is 42psi. Caulked around bathtub and toilet. Scope of work is to furnish and install new half inch trac pipe gas line to new stove appliance. Turned off gas at meter located on left side of property. Disconnected union at gas meter to purge lines of gas before new installation. New connections have been made at main gas line in crawlspace. New dedicated shut off valve has been installed and trac pipe has been installed thereafter. New 1/2” TracPipe gas line has been secured to joists in crawlspace. New access in flooring for gas line has been made and shut off valve has been installed above flooring. Flexible gas connection to stove has been made and gas has been restored to property. Preformed leak test on gas connections. No leaks and system is working properly. Relit water heater and set temperature. Current gas stove is working properly. New 1/2” gas line will be needed to service new gas appliance. Inspected gas line in crawlspace to give proper estimate for replacement. Water heater replacement due to unit leaking for several days. Upon arrival, shut off water supply to home and drained existing 40-gallon gas water heater. Removed old unit and hauled away for disposal. Installed new Rheem 40-gallon gas water heater (commercial-grade for residential use) with improved insulation for enhanced energy efficiency. Installation included corrections to multiple code and safety deficiencies found on previous unit. Installed new ball valves on both hot and cold water lines, added new gas sediment trap with gas valve and flex line (sediment trap was previously missing), and installed and properly supported new expansion tank (previously missing). Corrected T&P relief line to proper gravity drain configuration and reworked copper water lines to accommodate height differences. Reconnected vent piping to manufacturer specifications. Arrived at residence for leak in crawlspace from hallway toilet. Upon investigation found that leak is caused by an improper seal between the toilet and the flange. Providing a quote for replacement of the wax seal, and tightening down the toilet. However, it is recommended that the subfloor and joist be fixed prior to the service. Customer called for buzzing noise at power vent water heater. Arrived at property to inspect. Current thermal expansion tank is working properly and static psi is at 60 to residence. Ran hot water through tub until burner assembly and power vent activated. Power vent is making a humming noise. Advised customer that dust or debris could be in motor. Due to age of heater it is not recommended to remove power vent to inspect. HVAC unit in garage is also making a humming noise when running.
