Replaced leaking thermal expansion tank (dated 03/05/2020) in basement plumbing system. Installation included securing new tank with metal bands and reconnecting to existing copper pipe configuration with appropriate fittings and valves.
Responded to service call for main drain line clog. Upon inspection, discovered significant buildup of sediment and mineral deposits in the PVC drain pipe, with visible staining and corrosion around the brass fitting. Successfully cleared the obstruction to restore proper drainage functionality.
Diagnosed A.O. Smith 70-gallon gas water heater with no hot water output. Determined pilot light would not remain lit due to failed thermocouple; replaced thermocouple assembly, cleaned burner assembly, and verified proper ignition and operation. Unit now functioning correctly with appropriate hot water recovery.
Replaced worn brass valve stems/cartridges in bathroom sink faucet assembly. Verified proper water flow after installation with no leaks observed. Parts were special ordered to match existing traditional chrome fixture.
Successfully installed a 50-gallon Rheem Performance Platinum power vent gas water heater, replacing customer's aging 12-year-old unit. Connected all required copper piping, gas line, and proper venting system with expansion tank to ensure code compliance and optimal performance.
Inspected water stain on dining room ceiling below master bathroom. Tested water pressure in system, which measured approximately 100 PSI, significantly exceeding recommended levels. Determined high water pressure as likely cause of plumbing stress contributing to the leak. No active leaking observed at time of inspection.
Installed replacement bathroom faucet cartridge to restore proper function. Installed thermal expansion tank in utility room, connecting to existing water heater system to prevent pressure buildup and ensure code compliance.
Responded to service call regarding bathtub leak. Conducted visual inspection of tub, faucet assembly, and shower diverter. Documented existing condition of fixture and surrounding tile work with photographs for reference.
Install utility sink in kitchen provided by True Plumbing. Install faucet and connect drains and water lines. Tested for leaks. No leaks detected. Customer asked to reconnect dishwasher. Reconnected water and drain.

Customer experiencing no hot water. Left primary tankless water heater was flashing error code 12. The right secondary tankless water heater was not flashing an error code upon arrival. Both units are roughly 8 years old. Removed the front covers of both tankless water heaters. Error code 12 indicates a flame loss. The air intake screen for the primary unit was completely clogged. Thoroughly cleaned the intake screen. The unit is now working properly. An error code 12 can be caused by a clogged intake screen, loss of gas pressure, flame igniter issues, etc. Based off today’s findings, the most likely cause of the error code was a clogged intake screen. The air intake screen for the secondary unit was partially clogged. Thoroughly cleaned air intake screen. The secondary unit is showing signs of corrosion on the heat exchanger and buffer tank. Both tankless water heaters have brass (metal) drain connectors on the condensation drain. Both drain connections are corroded and showing sig
