Responded to service call for toilet making screeching noise when flushed and sewer/moldy odor emanating from laundry room sink. Performed diagnostic assessment of toilet flush mechanism and inspected laundry room plumbing system for potential drain venting issues or P-trap problems causing odor. Documented existing plumbing conditions with photographs, including water pressure gauge reading and current kitchen sink plumbing configuration. Consulted with property owner regarding feasibility of relocating laundry room from lower level to upper level, which would require assessment of water supply lines, drain routing, and structural considerations for future planning.

Carefully dug around existing landscaping and root systems to minimize disruption to surrounding vegetation, successfully repaired the water service issue, and backfilled the excavation area upon completion.
Responded to no cooling call for dual-zone residential HVAC system with basement and upstairs units. Upon arrival, confirmed both systems were non-operational. Customer reported basement unit was the original problem, which was resolved after resetting a tripped breaker, but the secondary upstairs unit subsequently stopped working. Inspected upstairs air handler and associated ductwork in attic space. Examined flexible duct connections, metallic insulation integrity, and equipment mounting. Verified all electrical connections, checked refrigerant lines, and assessed overall system operation. Both units restored to proper cooling function.
Responded to customer report of high water usage identified by county as originating from service line. Conducted thorough inspection of premises to locate source of leak. Inspected interior utility space with exposed ceiling joists and plumbing infrastructure, examining vertical copper supply line running from ceiling along wall corner for signs of moisture, corrosion, or active leaking. Proceeded to exterior inspection of property grounds where service line enters building. Located and examined buried metal service line partially exposed in soil among accumulated debris and vegetation. Assessed condition of exterior piping for visible deterioration, corrosion, or compromised sections that could result in water loss. Documented findings with photographic evidence of both interior plumbing system and exterior service line condition for customer records and potential follow-up repairs.
My AC went out overnight in the middle of a heat wave. I’ve used True for plumbing in the past and called them after the other HVAC company I had a service plan with wouldn’t come out to assess / repair for 6 days. (Hint - cancelling said service contract.) true came out same day. Fixed everything with a very thorough explanation of what needed to be done. They were already my go to for a plumbing and now they will be my only call for HVAC.
Responded to no cooling call on 11-year-old dual zone townhome system. Upon arrival, found cylindrical outdoor condensing unit with severe debris accumulation and lack of maintenance. Condenser coil heavily restricted with thick buildup of lint, fiber material, dust, and organic debris throughout fins and coil surfaces. Performed thorough coil cleaning to remove all contaminants and restore proper airflow through unit. Verified system operation and cooling performance after cleaning. Unit returned to normal operation with adequate airflow and refrigerant circuit function restored.
Responded to no hot water complaint on tankless water heater system. Upon inspection, discovered intake air vent pipe was severely clogged with accumulated dust, debris, and fibrous material, restricting airflow and preventing proper combustion. Responded to leak complaint originating from drain line connected to HVAC condensate system. Upon inspection, located PVC P-trap assembly in crawl space showing visible discoloration and staining at pipe joints and connection points, indicating active moisture issues. Documented existing plumbing configuration including vertical and horizontal drain sections with elbow fittings. Identified condensate drain connection point to main drain line and assessed condition of all visible components. Photographed installation for documentation purposes, capturing P-trap assembly, surrounding ductwork, and associated mechanical components to support diagnosis and future reference.
Responded to clogged drain service call for backyard and side yard drainage systems suspected of root intrusion. Inspected square metal drainage grates in lawn area and patio, accessing underground drainage components through utility access panel. Assessed condition of drain lines and documented existing blockages caused by root infiltration in outdoor drainage system.
Completed thermal expansion tank rework and main shut-off valve installation in mechanical room. Reconfigured copper piping system with new ball valves for improved isolation and system control. Installed white expansion tank with secure mounting brackets to accommodate thermal expansion in the water heating system. All connections properly soldered and tested for leaks, with multiple shut-off points strategically placed throughout the piping network for future maintenance accessibility.
Helpful and knowledgable service rep
I had an underground leak in the water supply line. Gary arrived on schedule, provided quotes and explained that the scope of work could change if certain pipe materials had been used. He promptly dug and found the leak, repaired the pipe and covered it back up. He was friendly and efficient and appeared to know exactly what he was doing. Would definitely use these guys again. I didn’t get other quotes for the work so I’m guessing how the price would compare, gave pricing 4 stars.
The job took less than 45 minutes Price is way to high
