Responded to service call regarding bathtub leak. Conducted visual inspection of tub, faucet assembly, and shower diverter. Documented existing condition of fixture and surrounding tile work with photographs for reference.
Install utility sink in kitchen provided by True Plumbing. Install faucet and connect drains and water lines. Tested for leaks. No leaks detected. Customer asked to reconnect dishwasher. Reconnected water and drain.

Customer experiencing no hot water. Left primary tankless water heater was flashing error code 12. The right secondary tankless water heater was not flashing an error code upon arrival. Both units are roughly 8 years old. Removed the front covers of both tankless water heaters. Error code 12 indicates a flame loss. The air intake screen for the primary unit was completely clogged. Thoroughly cleaned the intake screen. The unit is now working properly. An error code 12 can be caused by a clogged intake screen, loss of gas pressure, flame igniter issues, etc. Based off today’s findings, the most likely cause of the error code was a clogged intake screen. The air intake screen for the secondary unit was partially clogged. Thoroughly cleaned air intake screen. The secondary unit is showing signs of corrosion on the heat exchanger and buffer tank. Both tankless water heaters have brass (metal) drain connectors on the condensation drain. Both drain connections are corroded and showing sig
Downstairs hallway bathroom making noises from what appears to be the fill valve. Replaced fill valve and supply line as first step to resolve the noise. If noise continues, further work will need to be done. Adjusted flapper chain in primary bathroom toilet. True Plumbing recently rebuilt two upstairs toilets. One of the toilets was slightly leaking from the tank to bowl bolts. Both toilets are wobbly as there is an issue with the thickness of the new tank to bowl gaskets. True Plumbing will rebuild both toilets under warranty with new properly sized tank to bowl gaskets. Both stop valves for the toilets are in the off position and are working properly at this time. Removed all the water from the tanks of both toilets.
Inspected “in countertop” soap dispenser for failure to operate properly. Soap dispenser spout stem is broken. Recommended replacement of soap dispenser. Inspected dripping faucet in the primary bathroom. Provided option to repair faucet by replacing cartridges (part will need to be ordered). Inspected laundry room faucet for a leak around the sprayer head. Parts are missing from the sprayer head and the faucet has been continued. Recommended replacing faucet. Water pressure to the home is at 75 psi. The existing thermal expansion tank is undersized and unsupported. Recommended replacing thermal expansion tank with a properly sized thermal expansion tank. Customer approved recommended repairs. Once the cartridges for the bathroom faucet have been received, a return visit can be scheduled.
Inspected customer supplied undersink water filter and dispenser, found that customer will need to have electrician install an outlet that isn’t controlled by a switch. True plumbing can drill a hole into countertop for dispenser, will sent a technician that is capable of drilling into countertop once approved. Dispatch fee will be credited towards approved quote price.
Water leaking from the inside body of the kitchen faucet onto the cabinet base. Slip joint drain fitting has a slight leak. Provided options for repairs/replacement. Customer will reach out when a faucet has been purchased.
Performed an isolation test to identify if the water service has a leak. Verified that the water service is leaking. Emailed estimate for water service replacement.
Arrived at property to preform tank-to-bowl rebuild on two toilets. Installed new flush valve, fill valve, and supply line for both toilets located in upstairs of property. Removed toilet tanks to install new flush valves. Toilets have been secured with new bolts and washers. New fill valve and supply lines have been installed on both toilets and flush has been tested throughly. Both toilets are working properly. Happy holidays on behalf of True Plumbing.
Sewer scope has been scheduled by seller and sellers agent for inspection. Pulled upstairs toilet to preform sewer scope inspection of complete main sewer line. Checked pressure to property before pulling toilet. Static pressure to property is 45 psi. Preformed pressure drop test to confirm current pressure regulator valve (PRV) is working properly. PRV is working properly. Pulled toilet to preform camera inspection. Newly installed sewer line is installed correctly throughout and upon exiting property. Reset toilet with new wax ring and tested flush. Toilet is working properly and has been caulked to seal and secure. Continued sewer scope inspection through cleanout on exterior of property. Sewer line is correctly installed and slope is proper throughout. Root intrusion has been removed from main sewer line as well.
