Replace Kohler shower cartridge. Customer shut down water to building and turned back on. Replace shower head with customer provided part. Replace lavatory faucets for double vanity sink with customer provided faucet.

11/13/25 Customer called about a leaking sink in upstairs bathroom. Customer shared video of leak. Advised to replace sink p-trap. Replaced 1.25 in p-trap. Tested drain and found a leak on pop-up assembly. Replaced pop-up assembly. Tested by filling up sink and draining. NO Leaks and bathroom sink is fully operational.

Toilet Clearing Service We will auger the toilet to clear the blockage. If the auger does not successfully resolve the issue, we will proceed with removing the toilet and using a sewer machine to clear the line. The augering service cost will be credited toward the more extensive work if needed.

Arrived at residence to replace diverter cartridge in guest bathroom. Upon investigation, found that valve body has extensive damage due to age. Was able to install new cartridge, however, due to pitting on the body, the cartridge does not fully seal, and still slight water comes out of the tub faucet when the shower portion is on. The only way to remedy this is to get a new valve assembly installed. Customer also asked me to check out slow, draining tub. Ran my snake about 12 ft and pulled nothing back. I believe the tub is slow, draining due to the small hole It has for the waste and overflow as it does fully drain seconds after the water is turned off. 11/13/25 Customer called about a running toilet. TP arrived and checked water pressure to home and found to be safe at 70psi. Customer stated that two toilets in main bathroom are having issues. Replaced fill valve, flapper, and supply line to both toilets in main bathroom. Flushed toilets and they are now working properly. Found a section of compromised pipe on hot line from one of the hot water heaters. Replaced section of 3/4 copper. Tested for leaks and NO Leaks.

Arrived at residence for broken tub stopper and slow draining sink. Upon investigation found that tub stopper had just broken apart and was seized to the drain body. With a little elbow grease was able to disconnect drain stopper. Summer opted to get replacement stopper at Home Depot or Lowe’s and replace themselves. Remove drain stopper and clean thoroughly. Noticed that stopper rod was bent. Straightened out and reinstalled properly. Sink is flowing with no issues and back to normal operation. House pressure is at 64 psi. Called for back up in property. Arrived at property and sewage is standing in shower. Inspected drain lines beneath property. A belly can be seen at PVC to cast-iron transitioning point in crawlspace. Vacuumed out shower to pull toilet and run camera. Performed camera inspection and attempted to clear blockage multiple times with camera. Cleared blockage with camera and performed camera inspection thereafter. A belly can be seen inside of sewer line at the same PVC to cast-iron transitioning point located in crawlspace. Located main sewer line exiting property. Upon inspection, three collapsed sections of terracotta main sewer line have been identified and located. Main sewer line is installed underneath driveway. Please refer to attached estimates for main sewer line. Flange for toilet is damaged on right side. Replaced toilet flange and reset toilet. Toilet has been set with new bolts, supply line, and wax ring. Tested toilet multiple times and system is working properly. Note

70 psi Customer has high water bill. Checked meter and found it to be running. Shut off the valve for irrigation and main for home and meter was still running. Let customer know that old gate valves may not shut off water completely if old. Most likely source of leak is underground. Let customer know that if the water service is polybutylene or galvanized pipe then replacement is recommended. Customer can contact leak detection to find leak underground.

11/12/25 Customer called about a drain issue with dishwasher. Disconnected drain line and ran a rinse cycle. Drained waste water into a bucket. No issues with unit draining. Filled dual sink set up in kitchen with water. Drained and no issues with sink drain. Relocated dishwasher drain tie in, into the garbage disposal. Ran a cycle. NO Leaks, and drain flows normally. Customer stated having issues with trip lever and flushing on a toilet. Replaced fill valve, flapper, and trip lever. Tested toilet by flushing several times and NO leaks. Toilet is fully operational now.

Water pressure to the home is at 60 psi. Both small thermal expansion tanks for tankless water heaters are in working condition. Performed the following work: Replaced back upstairs bathroom Delta faucet cartridges. Attempted to replace middle upstairs back bathroom Delta faucet cartridges. Attempts were unsuccessful and customer is planning to replace faucet. Left the faucet stop valves in the off position. Replaced the hot side Delta faucet cartridge on the primary bathroom’s right faucet. Contacted Mr. Steam technical support to further diagnose steam generator issues. Tech support recommended servicing unit to attempt to resolve the issue with the auto flow valve. Estimate will be provided to repair unit. Replaced turbines in Flo by Moen with customer supplied parts. Checked all new connections for leaks. No leaks were found. **No warranty provided for customer supplied parts.

Drywall diagnostic results: Noticed water dripping from the PVC drain pipe under the toilet. Based on where the water is, it seems likely that the flange is faulty and needs to be replaced. There is a small chance that the only thing required is a pull and reset service to replace the seal. Arrived on-site to complete previously quoted flange replacement in upstairs Jack and Jill bathroom between son’s and daughter’s rooms. Prior investigation required cutting access hole in drywall to locate source of leak into ceiling below. Removed toilet to access and inspect flange. Confirmed flange was faulty due to extensive rust buildup and improper installation below tile level. Removed deteriorated flange and installed new flange over existing pipe with proper sealing. We were not able to screw the flange into the subfloor due to rotted wood. We do not anticipate any issues because of this. Reinstalled toilet with new wax ring, mounting hardware, supply line, and caulking around base. Teste

Arrived at residence to turn water back onto home. Cut water back on the home and then slowly released pressure to home. Once house was pressurized, released all sediment water through the tub upstairs. Then went through and tested each fixture running until clear. Water is back on and how suspect fully operational thank you for choosing true plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

Cut out of driveway and excavated to expose sewer line, installed a property line clean-out and reworked 10’ of sewer drain for more optimal flow, found water still standing and could not clear stoppage again, ran camera and found it stopped in the street. Call Dekalb watershed who attempted to jet as well before concluding a possibility of a collapsed tap under the street. True Plumbing backfilled the hole, and cleaned up area as best as possible. Customer states they are still not getting hot water consistently. Upon arrival, we tested the kitchen - water was getting hot and staying hot. Master bathroom shower and sinks are both getting hot and staying hot. Inspected the water heater. We did notice on the recirculating line, before the check valve, the recirculating line was warm, slightly colder than what it should be. Took apart the swing check valve and we see it is slightly open This can cause temperature fluctuations. We replaced the check valve under warranty. Should problems continue, Ryan Hanson will make a visit and see about next steps. Shower valve in master bathroom is a Briso thermostatic mixing valve. It’s possible that this valve is failing. Believe the part number is RP47201, however, we may have to disassemble to verify. Work today was done under warranty due to check valve failure.

Basement sewage ejection pump is not pumping out sewage and toilet is overflowing. Pulled out pump and found to be clogged with flushable wipes. After removing wipes, pumped out basin. Reinstall pump. Tested and found pump to be working properly.

Arrived at residence to provide quotes for different things around the home. Provided three different quotes for homeowner to look over. Each one is focused mainly around the biggest issue which is cast-iron replacement for the leaking cast iron piping. Customer will look at toilets and let us know which one they would like for replacement or we can provide either the round or elongated American standard cadet. Completed finishing work from previous week’s gas line installation project. Applied rust-resistant spray paint to all exposed black iron gas piping near the meter, pool heater supply line, and fireplace gas line exit. Sealed all penetrations through brick wall. Installed proper support for gas line in crawlspace. Customer requested hot water recirculation system addition. Installed crossover tee in half bathroom next to kitchen and adjusted tankless water heater settings for recirculation. Tested system for proper functionality and customer confirmed satisfaction. Extended tankless water heater exhaust vent to eliminate exhaust fume detection issues. All work completed successfully and customer approved final installation.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

11/12/25 Customer called about a leaking toilet and hose bib. TP arrived and checked water pressure to home. Home pressure is safe at 62psi. Cut water off to hose bib. Removed compromised shut off near hose bib and replaced with 3/4 PVC pipe. Furnished and installed a 1/2 ball valve on hose bib water line in basement. Turned water back on and tested for leaks. NO Leaks, and advised to shut water off to hose bib for winterization. Turned water off to toilet and removed compromised hardware in tank. Furnished and installed a new fill valve, flapper, and supply line. Loosened stiff trip lever on handle. Turned water back on and tested for leaks. NO Leaks.

Warranty. Float switch for sewer ejection pump was not turning on the pump. Another True Plumbing tech inspected the pump and lifted the float switch and recommended to replace. Removed pump and swapped float switch. Tested and pump is working properly.

Reinspected tankless water heaters. Repairs scheduled for Friday 11/14/2025.

Arrived at residence for leaking shower. Upon investigation found that reliable had not properly secured the shark bite fitting and was sitting on a sticker, causing it to have a slow leak. Held water, shut off and then removed old shark bite cap. Cut back on pipe. Installed new shark bite cap. Checked for leaking and found none. Examined kitchen faucet leaking and found that the O-rings in the top have gone bad. Due to the age and unknown make of the faucet, true plumbing recommends replacement. Customer was experiencing issues with running out of hot water when running multiple fixtures, technician found tankless unit was showing a code 10 indicating a pressure issue in the intake and exhausts. Technician shutdown unit and pulls the intake and exhaust motor, found bits of buildup on the blades/fins and cleaned them up, reinstalled fan motor and tested by running hot water from multiple units. Water pressure to home is at a safe level at 50psi.

Kitchen faucet leaking from internal supply hose. Due to age and brand being unknown, replacement is recommended. Recommended customer limit use to kitchen faucet. No other leaks were detected under kitchen sink. Inspected upstairs primary bathroom for pressure issues. The shower decreases in water pressure when the rainfall and primary shower head are both in use. After testing the water pressure and performing a dynamic water pressure test, the issue appears to be with the sizing of the water lines. Water pressure to the home is at 55 psi.

Customer called for kitchen sink clog. Arrived at property to inspect. Kitchen sink is backing up when faucet is ran for extended period of time. Recommended drain cleaning service after inspecting piping in crawlspace. Most of drain piping has been updated. Ran mini flex shaft and cleared kitchen drain blockage. Preformed fill test in sink and system is working properly. Static psi is 58 to residence. Supported thermal expansion tank with band iron as a courtesy. Please refer to estimate to replace current water heater.

Used tub gun to thoroughly clean out shower drain. Then treated the drain with bio one and scrubbed sidewalls of pipe with a towel. Smell wasn’t present when leaving the property. Please continue to monitor the area. Thank you for choosing True plumbing for all your plumbing needs!
