Atlanta, GA - Customer called about a toilet with flushing issues. True Plumbing arrived and inspected toilet. Toilet is an older model given that it’s about 18 years old and has a 1.6 gal tank. Modern toilets are more efficient with less water. Customer stated they use thick ply toilet paper. Drain issue has been present for a couple months.

Ran water in bathroom group. No issues on drains. Drain issue is isolated to toilet. Flushed a couple times and flow was a bit slow. Dumped a hand full of toilet paper in bowl and flushed. A slight back up occurred within bowl and then slowly drained. Advised to auger toilet for now. Turned water off to toilet and snaked fixture. Plunged a couple times for reassurance. Toilet is fully operational.

Prevention of drain issues would be switching to a thinner toilet paper and upgrading toilet to a modern model. Advised to camera drain line when replacing toilet. For any questions or concerns about todays service please feel free to reach out to our office.

Pressure was too low and they wanted it to adjusted to a higher pressure. Advised not adjust current PRV due to leak risk. Recommended to adjust pressure only if within 2-3 of installation. Customer stated they wanted to replace their old PRV in order to adjust pressure safely.

Atlanta, GA - Upstairs bedroom toilet is still leaking through the flush valve. Rebuild toilet by replacing fill valve, flush valve, bolts, and supply line. As all the parts in the toilet tank are replaced this should stop any leaks from happening.

Atlanta, GA - Customer called to install kitchen faucet and garbage disposal for newly installed kitchen sink. All parts have been customer supplied from previous sink. Installed new single handle faucet and faucet has been properly secured. Waterlines have been connected from faucet to hot and cold. Garbage disposal collar and garbage disposal have been reinstalled. Collar has been installed with new plumbers putty. System is working properly upon installation. Fill test has been performed to test drainage.

Static psi is 70. Performed pressure drop test on lavatory sink and pressure dropped to 65 psi. Pressure regulator valve is working properly. Supported thermal expansion tank for customer as a courtesy.

Atlanta, GA - Performed pressure test with water meter and confirmed no leak was occurring between water meter and home, found water in yard was from neighbors irrigation box.

Removed and hauled away old water heater, provided and installed new 80 gallon electric water heater with new isolation valve and new 4.8 gallon thermal expansion tank which was mounted and secured per code requirements. Rewired thermostats/elements for 240V residential power and set to non-simultaneous fire, marked water heater as such.

Replaced whole home shutoff valve and Pressure Regulating Valve.

Removed three stage filter and dispenser at kitchen island sink, provided and installed a 3 stage iSpring RO filter and dispenser.

Reinstated water to home and tested all installed components, set water pressure to home at 65psi.
