Customer contacted True Plumbing to inspect the cause of the leak that occurred in the hall half bathroom next to the living room and garage. Found that bathroom lavatory faucet supply line broke and leaked for a while before it was caught. Customer will need to replace faucet after remediation as supply line is connected into the faucet. Faucet can no longer be used with the supply line damaged.
Checked water pressure and found it to be holding at 75 psi which is within safe levels by code.
Although the pressure is within normal levels, recommend replacing pressure regulator as found to be older. Thermal expansion tank is also recommended for replacement.
Customer was having issues with high water pressure, technician inspected regulator and water heater finding that PRV and thermal expansion tank had failed with water pressure being over 115psi even after relieving thermal expansion, also found water heater was from 2009. Technician left options for replacement along with tankless quote at customers request.
I responded to a sewage backup in the basement bathroom. After diagnosing the issue, I discussed the available options and potential scenarios with the customer before proceeding with the work.
I pulled the toilet to access the drain line and performed a flex shaft drain cleaning service. It took two passes to clear the blockage. During the first pass, I pulled back some flushable wipes from the line, which I advised the customer should never be put down the drain as they cause these types of backups.
Once I had the line cleared, I ran a camera through to investigate and confirm everything was flowing properly. The camera showed that the clog had been located approximately 10 to 15 feet down the line. I mentioned to the customer that there’s a possibility the pipe may need to be jetted in the future to fully clear the line, though I believe what’s remaining in the pipe is just soft clog material that should flush down on its own.
Before resetting the toilet, I performed thorough testin

Thank you for choosing True plumbing for all your plumbing needs!
Inspected washing machine drain for a leak. Found that the washing machine drain was overflowing when the washing machine was discharging. Provided options to replace the section of cast iron drain or use drain machines. Customer opted to perform drain cleaning service at this time. Used the tub gun drain machine through the cast iron p trap multiple times. Tested drain by discharging the washing machine several times and for now the drain is draining properly. No leaks on the drain were observed at this time. However, some of the drain is not visible. If issues reoccur replacement is recommended.
Recommended customer let us know if issues return. Updated estimates for the recommended work have been emailed with invoice.

Upon arrival, inspected meter and do not see any indication that there’s an active leak.
Provided an estimate to do a proper pressure test to be absolutely sure there is no active leak.
Customer stated the county said he needed a new water service line due to it being plastic pvc pipe.
While pvc pipe as a pressurized water line is not ideal for a water service, per Georgia code, it is acceptable.
I provided an estimate to repipe the first 5’ in front of the meter if the county won’t replace the meter.

Initial Investigation
The customer requested exposure of the waterline to obtain additional information regarding the water service issue. Our team exposed the waterline to perform a repair and reconnect the tenant’s waterline with the connection point after the water meter.
Upon locating the waterline, the customer informed us that the city had previously come to the property to expose and assess the location of a leak and perform a repair. During this city investigation, a 3-foot section of black polyethylene pipe was removed from underground and has not been reinstalled.
When the city turned on the water during their investigation, significant flooding occurred from underground. This flooding indicates that during the excavation and pipe exposure process, the city inadvertently damaged the tenant’s waterline and left it disconnected.

Arrived on site and inspected the kitchen garbage disposal. During testing, discovered an internal leak originating from inside the unit housing, indicating internal failure. The existing disposal, installed in 2014, was approximately eleven years old, which is past the average lifespan range of five to ten years. Replacement options were discussed with the customer, who chose to install a one-half horsepower model that includes a three-year manufacturer warranty, along with a workmanship warranty provided through our group.
The scope of work included disconnecting and fully removing the existing garbage disposal, sink connections, and drainage components. A new sink flange, seals, drainage, and one-half horsepower garbage disposal were installed. All existing electrical connections were reconnected, and the system was tested for leaks and functionality. The new disposal is operating properly with no signs of leakage.
During the visit, a slight whistling noise was observed from t

Main service line is copper upon entry into residence. Used probing rod to discern best location to begin exploratory dig to uncover leak in yard. 1” PVC main service line has been uncovered in yard and point of leak has been identified. Customer had an old water heater that was leaking due to the age of the heater.
This caused water to flood the closet in garage and water onto carpet on main floor of the home.
Installed new 40 gallon gas water heater.
Includes new shutoff valve and thermal expansion tank.
Water pressure was right under 80 psi.
Due to there being no regulator valve, we couldn’t warranty the new heater.

Water heater warrantied for 6 years.

I provided an estimate for the upstairs neighbor, and they opted to call their own plumber this week to address the issue.

True plumbing installed water heater and the copper gas tubing connected to the sediment trap was leaking. Replaced copper tubing with csst.
Homeowner called for leak and ceiling. True Plumbing has recently been to property to inspect leak. Water can be seen pooling in plastic where drywall has recently been cut. Inspected upstairs bathroom group located above where leak is. True Plumbing has performed extensive testing on bathtub on previous visit. Inspected flooring of upstairs bathroom group. Gaps can be seen in baseboard and areas of flooring that have the potential to let water pass through. Removed plastic to inspect subfloor in recently removed drywall section. Water mark can be seen around a nail going through subfloor. Nail is showing signs of rust, indicating water is coming in contact with nail. Due to location of nail is it recommended to have a moisture inspection preformed in area. Contacted restoration company and passed along upstairs property owners information to schedule a visit to inspect flooring further. Used silicone around base board where gaps can be seen. Caulking has been used around toilet in ups
Appreciated the communication we had with the technician!
Arrived on-site to investigate potential issues with gas pressure. Customer mentioned that another contractor told her the gas pressure was too low going to the heater in the ceiling of Unit A.
Upon arrival, I noticed that both gas meters were off. The smaller gas meter on the left side is servicing Unit C only, and the larger gas meter on the right side is servicing Units A and B. The customer’s main concern is the heater in Unit A and the heater in Unit C. She has an HVAC company replacing the unit in Unit C.
I advised the customer that we can perform a gas pressure test, but I don’t see any evidence suggesting there is a gas pressure problem. The test would involve a lot of work and expense for something that may not make any difference, especially when there’s no clear indication of an issue.
I was not able to test the two heaters in Unit B because I don’t have access to the thermostats at this time.
Conclusion: At this time, I don’t believe there is a gas issue affecting any of th

Customer called for estimate on gas line install for commercial property. Arrived at property to inspect. Customer stated commercial property is divided into separate sections. Sections of property do not have heating inside and customer would like HVAC unit installed.
Recommended to customer to call HVAC company for estimate on size of unit(s) needed to heat commercial space. Once estimate and units have been given by HVAC company True Plumbing will revisit to inspect gas and gas lines to property.
Note: If gas meter is not adequately sized for new HVAC unit city services will need to be contacted to change or upgrade meter before install of new gas lines.
Note: Informed customer of gas smell near meter and recommended to contact Atlanta Gas Light.

Customer called about a stiff diverter handle on shower and a leak in-between units. TP arrived and checked water pressure to unit. Unit is safe with 50psi. Went into unit below and found staining on ceiling. Advised Neighbor that ceiling will need to be cut in order to diagnose leak.
TP replaced valve stems on three handle shower valve on 1/15/25. Shower valve is original to home and stiffness is due to normal ware and tare. Discussed options for a replacement. Will leave estimate in attachments.
Prepped area for drywall cutting. Exposed shower drain. Ran water in shower upstairs. Splashed water on trim and overflow. Filled bathtub and drained. No signs of water intrusions. Sealed opening with plastic and advised to keep monitoring.
Arrived at property for a clogged toilet. Upon investigation decided to auger toilet first. Augured toilet and pulled back copious amounts of toilet paper and paper towels.
