The check was presented to the school on July 30, just days ahead of the start of the 2026-27 school year — timing that wasn’t lost on the company’s founders, both of whom walked Centennial’s halls as students two decades ago.
True Plumbing, Heating & Cooling was founded by licensed master plumber Ryan Hanson in 2014, later welcoming his business partner and childhood friend, Paul Schrafft. The two graduated from Centennial High School together in 2003, and Schrafft still lives in the Horseshoe Bend community within the school’s district.
“It means a lot to me to be able to give back to the school that helped shape me. As a teenager I was always tinkering in my dad’s workshop in Rivermont, so for my plumbing company to support my alma matter feels like a full-circle moment,” said Hanson, founder of True Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.
“Centennial was the new kid on the block in 2003. It’s been a pleasure to live nearby as an adult to watch it grow—and I know someday I’ll send my own kids there,” added Schrafft.
The Centennial High School gift is the latest in a series of local sponsorships and donations under the True
