As always, True Plumbing responded quickly to my call and resolved the issue immediately. Max was very professional, showed me in advance several options and once I chose, he fixed it promptly and then showed me exactly what he had done. Max and Grayden did a great job freeing up our slow kitchen drain and replacing our disposal. They came out to the house within a hour of our call. The job was larger than originally thought but they persevered and did a great job freeing up our drain. They spent more than 3 hours fixing our plumbing issues. Very professional, very capable.

They installed a complete whole house water filter. They came when they said and did exactly as expected. I will definitely use them again!!

Came very quickly and replaced a water heater for me. Water now is very hot. The men who came out were so polite. Definitely recommend this company.

Inspected and diagnosed cast iron drain pipe that required replacement. Accessed plumbing through wall cutout, revealing water damage to subflooring. Replacement job will require assistant due to complexity of accessing crawlspace area and managing the deteriorated cast iron pipe system.
Customer recently had sink replaced to a single hole sink and was looking to have drains reconnected. Technician inspected and found old drain was up would not work with new sink. Work performed as follows: Cut out section of drain pipe and reworked to accommodate new single hole sink, reinstalled previous disposal including installing mounting collar. Assembled all new parts and tested to ensure no leaks were present.
Customer is experiencing issue with dirty water coming out of hot side/water heater and wants water heater flushed. Technician inspected water heater and found it is from 2019 which puts it at the age limit which true plumbing is willing to service internal tank issues, as well a concerns over plastic drain port. Water pressure to home is at a safe even at 50psi. Wrote up quote to replace water heater and waived dispatch fee.
Customer was experiencing issue with laundry drain overflowing, tech ran snake to clear drain but warned there may be issues with drain due to old cast iron pipe. Snaked drain and pulled back some clumps of lint likely caught up in p-trap. Tested drain and found that drain would eventually back up really slowly, inspected drain in crawlspace and found a long run of 2” cast iron drain minimally sloped indicating line was likely to closed up and restricting flow. Wrote up quote to replace with PVC.
Customer was having issue with running toilet and water splashing from tank, inspection revealed full tube had popped out. Reinserted fill tube and tested, found no issues but recommend rebuilding toilet if issue persists. Water pressure to home is at a safe level at 65psi.

Customer was experiencing noises in toilet, technician inspected and found full valve was running continuously, isolated toilet at stop valve and tested pressure to home finding it is at a a safe level at 60psi. Wrote up options to rebuild or replace toilet. Work performed as follows: Rebuilt toilet with new fill valve, flapper, and supply line, adjusted for optimal flush and tested.
Customer was having issues with high water pressure, technician inspected regulator and water heater finding that PRV and thermal expansion tank had failed with water pressure being over 115psi even after relieving thermal expansion, also found water heater was from 2009. Technician left options for replacement along with tankless quote at customers request.
Customer looking for water heater quote. Technician inspected water heater and found it was leaking from the tank. Checked water pressure to home and found t was at a safe level at 63psi. Sent quote to replace water heater.
Customer was experiencing issues with fixtures bathroom group in basement not draining. Technician bypassed float switch on sewer ejection pump and found it was operational, technician began running water in nearby bathroom fixtures and found air was gurgling from toilet indicating a stoppage in drain pipe. Technician pulled toilet and ran camera noticing some tissue like object in drain but difficult to see in murky water. Technician then ran a flex shaft, pulled back a lot of paper towels on end of flexshaft, ran camera to reinspect, saw no other foreign objects in drain although it is difficult to see all of basin where sewer ejection pump sits. Technician ran fixtures to discharge pump multiple times as a step towards ensuring no other foreign objects were in sewer ejection pump basin that could jam the pump, but cannot guarantee without pulling pump. Reset toilet with new wax ring, toilet bolts and caps, tested multiple times and caulked around the base.
Customer was having issues getting hot water to kitchen sink again, technician removed comfort tee and found internal check valve had failed causing issues with cold water backfeeding into hot line, assumed a defective part and replaced under warranty. Double checked setting on tankless unit as well. WARRANTY WORK/DEFECTIVE PART.
Rerouted drains in home from septic tank and ran to new sewer tap. Work performed as follows: Dug up and decommissioned septic tank by breaking concrete and filling with gravel. Cut out all accessible cast iron in home and replaced with new PVC piping while reversing the direction of flow to other side of home, secured all pipe where necessary, cut sections of concrete and ran rest of way to side of home with PVC, ran pipe under footer and ran the rest of the way to new city tap in back yard with excavator. Totaling about 160’ of PVC inside the home and about 90’ outside. installed new washing machine box in basement as well as basin pump with roughed in drain for kitchenette. Backfilled all holes and covered with wheatstraw outside and gravel and concrete inside, left concrete below flush surface to allow for floor self leveler to be poured as needed. Customer was experiencing a stoppage affecting main floor bathrooms, technician pulled toilet and ran flexshaft, cleared stoppage and found what seemed a bundle of yarn. Ran camera to inspect and saw no concerning or immediate issues. Reset toilet with new wax ring, supply line, toilet bolts and caps, tested and caulked around the base. Customer was also having a leak through floor under shower, technician ran tests and inspections and concluded shower pan had failed. Water pressure to home is at a safe level at 40psi.
Customer was experiencing a stoppage affecting upstairs fixtures, when technician arrived stoppage had cleared itself and was likely a partial stoppage. Customer had concerns about leaks through ceiling. One is uncertain and technician recommended cutting Sheetrock to inspect and figure out issue, or pull and reset master bathroom toilet for wax seal replacement with no guarantee of issue being solved. Other issue was coming from overflow plate at upstairs tub, technician attempted to replace overflow gasket and found that due to positioning of overflow tube the gasket could not make a complete seal even when compressed and recommended replacing waste and overflow pipe and trim. Customer asked to seal and see if gasket would hold, technician added silicone sealant to caps and covered plate but warned this may not solve the issue. Customer was experiencing fixtures in home backing up again, technician reviewed all information from previous visit with manager and concluded that due to the condition of the cast iron True Plumbing cannot warranty the drain cleaning and can only recommend the cast iron replacement quoted previously as the next step towards a long term solution.
Customer was experiencing wet carpet and floors in lower floor of slips level home. Technician began testing fixtures and found that leak was coming from a failed shower valve in master shower that cause water to run down walls whenever shower was being used. Water could be heard dripping from shower valve in wall after valve was shutoff. Recommend opening up walls to replace shower valve.
Removed and hauled away old water heater, provided and installed new 50 gallon gas water heater, including new isolation valve and new 2.1 gallon thermal expansion tank which will be mounted and secured per code requirements. Added drip 90 to T&P discharge line to bring up to code as well. Replaced Pressure Regulating Valve to correct water pressure and included new whole home shutoff valve as well. Reinstated water to home and purged as much air out as possible, tested all installed components and set new water pressure to 65psi. Set water heater to approximately 120°F.
Customer had shower hand held sprayer holder fall off again, technician secured holder to tile with screws at customers approval but warned True Plumbing cannot warranty against tile damage, drill hole damage, or that holder won’t come off again. WARRANTIED WORK.
Removed and hauled away old water heater, provided and install new 50 gallon gas water heater, included new isolation valve, and pan placed under water heater with drain capped off. Deducted $200 from price to leave old thermal expansion tank as it is functioning and a couple of years old. Reinstated water to home and purged as much air out of system at possible, tested all installed components and set water heater to approximately 120°F.
Flushed tankless unit with solution for 45 minutes to eliminate mineral buildup in heat exchanger. If it has been more than 4-5 years since last flush of tankless unit, flushing unit may cause leaks may occur from the heat exchanger due to damage from mineral buildup, true plumbing is not responsible if any damage occurs from recent flush. Marked on side of unit to indicate flush date of unit for record keeping. Cleaned out pop-up assembly on right hand side lavatory sink in master bathroom to fix slow draining. Tested.
Returned and dug up area where initial root intrusion was occurring, eliminated section of pipe and replace with new PVC pipe, installed a clean-out for future access as well as a sewer popper. Placed concrete at mechanical connections to prevent future root growth into pipe and backfilled hole. Ran jetter for a minute and then ran camera to inspect, found root intrusions at almost every connection, camera would not go further than approximately 60’. Quoted to jet out as many remaining roots as possible and further inspect the line.
Customer was having issue with leak at water heater and two running toilets. Water pressure was found to be at a high level at 85psi. Work performed as follows: Shut down, drained, and hauled away both water heaters. Provided and installed two new 50 gallon gas water heaters in parallel with isolation valves and with a new 4.8 gallon thermal expansion tank which was mounted and secured per new code requirements. Rebuilt two toilets with new fill valves, flush seals, aqua pistons, and supply lines. Reinstated water to home and purged all air out of system, tested all installed components, set new water pressure to 55psi and water heaters to approximately 120°F
Inspected concerns in home, found minor leak in ceiling is likely from gap in tub/shower trim, recommend caulking trim and keeping an eye out. Low flow lavatory faucet was fixed by cleaning aerator, and tightened up dripping pipe under lavatory sink in main bathroom. Waived dispatch fee per office.
Return to clear drain in kitchen drain. Started by disassembling and cutting drain under kitchen for better access, then ran flexshaft multiple times to clear clog. Once clog was cleared technician reassembled drain with a fernco at cut area for cuter ease of access, and tested drain by filling sink up and draining. Flexshaft had remnants of eggshells on shaft and strong grease odor, recommended eliminating eggshells, grease, and fibrous foods from drain/disposal, and reducing food put down disposal in general.
Customer was experiencing issues with running out of hot water quickly in the master bathroom. After some investigation technician found that an isolation valve to hot water to bathroom had been shutoff and hot water was backfilling through recirculation line due to failed check valve. Wrote up option to install recirculation pump and new check valve. Also inspected out door faucet and found it was damaged due to freeze break. Wrote up quote to replace faucet and add drain valve to pipes. Water pressure to home is at a safe level at 65psi.
