I’ve had True Plumbing providing services for several years, from minor things to water heaters. This was a small thing that could have gotten worse but I was easily able to book an appointment for the next day. They communicated very well across multiple platforms, arrived on time and quickly found the issue and resolved it. I trust them thoroughly in my house with how polite and professional they are. I will continue to call them for any of my plumbing needs without hesitation.

Arrived at residence for dripping sound in the walls. Homeowner would also like for me to go over how to winterize their house. Found that dripping/knocking sound was coming from behind kitchen cabinet. Opened up small drywall on other side of wall to see if I could see any moisture. No moisture was found. Next solution was to cut a small hole in the paneling of the cabinet to investigate. Behind the paneling and the drywall was the main stack for the second story. It is my belief that the stack was sandwiched with the cabinet in the drywall between the wall and when water would hit it, it would expand/contract, making a knocking noise. There’s no moisture or water issues were found with the pipe at this time. Also, while at the house, homeowner had me investigate dripping of a shower in a bathtub. In my investigation found that the house pressure was sitting at 95psi. This caused by a failed pressure reducing valve. Shut water off the home and replaced the pressure reducing valve. Got
Arrived at residence to investigate possible shower pan failure. In the visual inspection from below, saw places where water intrusion had happened below the pan. Different spots of wood are stained with slight mold growth and slightly damp to the touch. Ran water and held it in the pan for a few seconds, and that’s all it took for the water to slowly seep through. Thank you for choosing True plumbing for all your plumbing needs!
Arrived at residence for a leak in the ceiling. Upon investigation found best course of action was to cut drywall. When cutting drywall found caped Cast-iron pipe slowly leaking. Investigated more thoroughly and found that this is a old stack pipe going up out of the roof of the house. My best guess is when renovations were done. The pipe was changed to PVC and not need it any longer, so they just tapped off the bottom of it. Over the years rainwater has gathered in the pipe. Punctured fernco cap and drained down 22 gallons of water out of pipe. Replaced with new cap. Please have handyman install a 4 inch fernco cap on top of the stack coming from the roof of the house. It is my belief this will not cause air gap issues, but if it does, we will return with different solutions. Homeowner also requested new whole home Shut off valve as the current one is leaking when off. Cut off water to home. Drained down and installed new valve. Turned water back on to home and tested, found no leaks.
Arrived at residence to investigate rusting pipe underneath sink and leaking hose bib. In my investigation wrote up quotes for homeowner. Homeowner has opted to do the demolition of the six tiles underneath the sink themselves. Will return to make repairs on the drain once demolition is completed. Will also fix hose bib upon return. Arrived at residence for pressure issues. Upon investigation found the Pressure reducing valve has failed. Pressure to the home was 110 psi. Shut water down to home and removed old prv. Arrived at residence to install quoted whole home water filter. Cut off water to the property, drained down and removed old whole home filter. Installed new whole home filter and repiped into system. Cut water back on to home and tested fixtures. Home system is back to normal operation. Water filter needs 48-72 hours of soaking at which point we will return to purge the filter. Arrived at residence for leak in the ceiling under master bathroom toilet. Upon investigation decided best course of action was to pull the toilet. Once toilet was pulled found that flange had broken and wax seal had come undone. I was able to repair the flange and set new wax seal and toilet. Reconnected the water and tested several times. Found no leaks and toilet is back to working normal operation. Please allow 3 to 4 hours for the caulking on the bottom of the toilet to dry before use. Arrived at residence for a broken garbage disposal. Upon investigation found that garbage disposal was just old and finally gave way. Removed old disposal and installed new half horsepower garbage disposal. Tested for leaks and found none. Garbage disposal is working with normal operation. Arrived at residence for broken toilet handle. Fixed broken toilet handle and tested toilet several times. Toilet is working with normal operation. Customer asked also to investigate faucet previously worked on as it is. Showing little issues. Removed aerator and cleaned debris. Faucet appears to be working with normal operation. Arrived at residence for miss functioning toilet. Upon investigation, found that a major clog has occurred on pipe leading to sewage direction pump. First started by probing with PVC pipe and massive amount of toilet tissue came out of the pipe. It appears the clog has stopped of the pipe for about 12 feet of tissue and debris. Proceeded to use flex shaft to clear pipe. Once pipe was cleared, investigated and found no more debris. Toilet, shower and sink are all working with normal operation now. Arrived at residence for warranty swap on Taco recirculation system. Shut down water heater and drained. Removed old taco pump and installed new taco pump. Cut water back on the heater and tested for leaks found none purged all the hot lines in the House of air then turned on pump and purged lines until pump was running with no air interference. Arrived at business to investigate backing up floor drains. Decided best course of action was to run a camera through the clean out beside the grease trap. Ran camera down through the grease trap and investigated the pipes. Pipes look clean with no separations bellies or blockages. However, in the PVC piping, there are many turns which may clog more easily than straight piping. My recommendation is to try not to use as many systems (toilet, dishwasher, sinks, washing machine) at once. Try your best to only use them one at a time as more water flow on all the turns may cause a air lock which could lead to a blockage. I also recommend updating the grease trap as it is older and probably not working as efficiently. It has rusting on the lid which allows the sewer smell to continue to leak into the kitchen. Arrived at residence for a leak underneath kitchen sink. Upon investigation found that drain line had slipped off. Removed drain line and reinstalled. Tightened down snug and tested. Found no leaks. Arrived at business to repair E110 issue on hot water heater. Shut down heater and removed part. Replaced with new and cut heater back on and waited for it to boot up. Ran water until it was warm. Arrived at residence to perform quoted work of installing a new Pressure reducing valve and new hot water heater. Shut down water to home and removed old prv. Installed new Pressure reducing valve and turned water back on. Found no leaks. Installed new hot water heater and cut water on to it. Tested for leaks and found none. Arrived at residence for leak in the ceiling. Removed drywall to investigate leak and found burst copper pipe in the ceiling. Removed copper pipe and capped. Arrived at residence to investigate leaking hot water heater. Upon investigation found that heaters tank has failed and it’s leaking from the bottom. Arrived at the residence to investigate low water flow when water filter system is turned on. Upon investigation found that filters have been clogged by heavy debris. Arrived at residence for leaking showerhead. Upon investigation found that the shower handle was just hard to push in and out. Removed shower handle and cleaned inside.
