I’ve had True Plumbing providing services for several years, from minor things to water heaters. This was a small thing that could have gotten worse but I was easily able to book an appointment for the next day. They communicated very well across multiple platforms, arrived on time and quickly found the issue and resolved it. I trust them thoroughly in my house with how polite and professional they are. Hunter was polite, respectful and very knowledgeable. He timely fixed our problem and then diagnosed another concern I had.
Completed installation of dual Rheem water heaters with associated copper piping connections and pressure reducing valve (PRV) replacement as specified in the approved quote. Proper venting was established through vertical exhaust systems, and all gas lines were successfully connected. Final inspection confirmed proper operation of both units and compliance with installation requirements.
Diagnosed toilet with continuous running issue. Removed and inspected flapper valve assembly, which showed deterioration causing improper sealing. Verified water pressure at approximately 45 PSI with gauge test, confirming the recently installed PRV is functioning correctly. Provided customer with quote for garbage disposal replacement as requested.
Replaced worn brass valve stems/cartridges in bathroom sink faucet assembly. Verified proper water flow after installation with no leaks observed. Parts were special ordered to match existing traditional chrome fixture.
Performed scheduled tankless water heater maintenance service, which included a complete system flush to remove mineral deposits and scale buildup. Conducted follow-up inspection of previously installed HALO H2zero water filtration system. Inspected shower head in pool house bathroom that had failed due to freezing. Documented the condition of the chrome fixture which was previously installed in August. Arrived at residence to investigate leaking hot water heater. Upon investigation found that the tank on the left 50 gallon gas hot water heater has failed. Providing homeowner with quotes to replace both hot water heaters as they are 22 years of age. Homeowner also stated that house is having pressure issues. Arrived at residence for installation of Toto washlet bidet. Cut off water to toilet and removed hose. Installed new Toto seat. Installed new braided supply line hose and installed bidet according to instructions. Cut water back on the toilet and tested flushing. Toilet is back to normal operation. Arrived at residence to create quotes for guest bathroom remodel. Customer would like the main stack from upstairs pushed further back in the cavity of the wall. The cast iron pipe will be removed and PVC would be used instead. We would reconnect a new shower drain, a new drain for the sink in the bathroom and a new flange for the toilet. Also, presenting quotes for a gas leak test and replacement of cartridges in master bath. Tested the pressure to the home and water pressure sitting in a safe 62 psi. Installation of freestanding tub and reconnecting of waste lines, along with supply lines. Also the replacement of a toilet in the master bathroom. Installed and tested for leaks. Found none. Arrived at residence to investigate leak from up stairs shower. Cut drywall behind shower and could see leak coming from behind tub spout. Removed spout and found collar was broken by in proper installation. Replaced with new and tested for leaks found none. Shower is back to normal operation. While at the home also found that the Pressure Reducing Valve has failed. This is more than likely the cause of the water pipes squealing/ banging and the faucet dripping. We were unable to find the PRV and where the water enters the home. Building several options for the homeowner to help this situation. Arrived at residence for broken sink faucet. Customer requested replacement with customer supplied faucet. Cut off water to home and drained down the system. Removed old faucet fixture and installed new faucet fixture. Replaced braided supply lines. Cut water back on to the home and tested. Arrived at residence for squealing noise, coming from pipes when faucets are cracked to let water drip during the cold. It is my belief that either a cartridge or a stop valve is holding a little air/has had a tiny bit of debris in it to create that squealing. The pressure to the home and thermal expansion tank are both checked and are both working properly. If the noise is to continue as a constant, please contact us back and we will locate the possibly failing stop valve or cartridge. Arrived at residence to perform quoted work of installing new 40 gallon, electric hot water heater. Along with the installation of a Flo by Moen. Begun by shutting off water the home and draining down the system. Drained down the old heater and removed. installed new hot water heater and Moen Flo device. Cut water back on to unit and tested for leaks. Found none. Set up the Flo with the homeowner and tested. Currently is working with normal operation. Reinstalled washing machine for homeowner. When washing machine was removed, noticed slight cross threading on hose bibs from previous installer. Was able to reinstall with new lines, tested and found no leaks. apartment hot water should be returned within the hour if not already. Arrived at Business to investigate sewer smell wafting through the offices. In my Investigation I was unable to find any plumbing issues related to the problem. Through little more investigation determined that could possibly be poor vent van connection, causing the fan to push the odors into the drop ceiling and disperse them throughout the office. Arrived at residence for leaking toilet. Upon investigation found that stop valve had failed and was leaking. Shut off water to home and replaced stock valve. Installed new braided line from stop valve to toilet. Cut water back on to home. Tested for leaks. Found none. Toilet is back to normal working operation. Arrived at residence for slow flowing kitchen faucet. Upon my investigation determined that the filter and interior mechanisms were clogged. Removed head of the faucet and cleaned what I could on screen. Reconnected the head and ran water. Faucet still wasn’t working fully properly. Pulled out the stop button and unjammed the faucet. This fixed the faucet head. It is my recommendation to no longer use the stop button on the faucet as it is getting jammed. If you are able to find the model of the faucet, I’m sure Kohler will send you a new faucet head. If problems persist, recommend replacement of entire kitchen faucet. Removed old showerhead in master bathroom and replaced with customer supplied shower heads. Tested and ran water and showerheads are working with normal operation. Arrived at Residence for banging of the pipes. Upon investigation found that water pressure was sitting in 140 psi. This is the result of a failed pressure reducing valve. Replacing the pressure reducing valve should fix issues with the home. Shut down water to home and removed old pressure reducing valve. Installed new pressure reducing valve and set to correct pressure. Turned water back on the home tested for leaks. Found none. House pressure is sitting at a safe 65 psi. Arrived at business for a clogged sink drain. Undid P-trap and removed drain stopper. Found copious amounts of hair and toothpaste stuck in the drain. Cleaned drain thoroughly then and replaced tested. Drain is working with normal operation and no longer backing up. It is my recommendation for owner to get a handyman in to tighten sink back up closer then the wall. When water fills up the sink, it’ll splash out of the bowl because it is tilted.
