I’ve had True Plumbing providing services for several years, from minor things to water heaters. This was a small thing that could have gotten worse but I was easily able to book an appointment for the next day. They communicated very well across multiple platforms, arrived on time and quickly found the issue and resolved it. I trust them thoroughly in my house with how polite and professional they are. I will continue to call them for any of my plumbing needs without hesitation.

Arrived at residence to replace diverter cartridge in guest bathroom. Upon investigation, found that valve body has extensive damage due to age. Was able to install new cartridge, however, due to pitting on the body, the cartridge does not fully seal, and still slight water comes out of the tub faucet when the shower portion is on. The only way to remedy this is to get a new valve assembly installed. Customer also asked me to check out slow, draining tub. Ran my snake about 12 ft and pulled nothing back. I believe the tub is slow, draining due to the small hole It has for the waste and overflow as it does fully drain seconds after the water is turned off. Arrived at residence for broken tub stopper and slow draining sink. Upon investigation found that tub stopper had just broken apart and was seized to the drain body. With a little elbow grease was able to disconnect drain stopper. Summer opted to get replacement stopper at Home Depot or Lowe’s and replace themselves. Remove drain stopper and clean thoroughly. Noticed that stopper rod was bent. Straightened out and reinstalled properly. Sink is flowing with no issues and back to normal operation. House pressure is at 64 psi. Arrived at residence to turn water back onto home. Cut water back on the home and then slowly released pressure to home. Once house was pressurized, released all sediment water through the tub upstairs. Then went through and tested each fixture running until clear. Water is back on and how suspect fully operational thank you for choosing true plumbing for all your plumbing needs.
Arrived at residence to provide quotes for different things around the home. Provided three different quotes for homeowner to look over. Each one is focused mainly around the biggest issue which is cast-iron replacement for the leaking cast iron piping. Customer will look at toilets and let us know which one they would like for replacement or we can provide either the round or elongated American standard cadet. Arrived at residence for leaking shower. Upon investigation found that reliable had not properly secured the shark bite fitting and was sitting on a sticker, causing it to have a slow leak. Held water, shut off and then removed old shark bite cap. Cut back on pipe. Installed new shark bite cap. Checked for leaking and found none. Examined kitchen faucet leaking and found that the O-rings in the top have gone bad. Due to the age and unknown make of the faucet, true plumbing recommends replacement. Arrived at property for a clogged toilet. Upon investigation decided to auger toilet first. Augured toilet and pulled back copious amounts of toilet paper and paper towels. Flush toilet and everything went down. Flush toilet Several times over and toilet is working with normal operation. Notice small amount of construction debris in floor trap in bathroom, stuck auger down and push them through however, was not able to get all through put water in trap and trap is still working with normal operation. Used tub gun to thoroughly clean out shower drain. Then treated the drain with bio one and scrubbed sidewalls of pipe with a towel. Smell wasn’t present when leaving the property. Please continue to monitor the area. Thank you for choosing True plumbing for all your plumbing needs!
Arrived at the residence for a leaking toilet. After investigation The best course of action is to pull and reset the toilet. Discovered that toilet had not been shimmed and was rocking every time sat on. This caused the water to flow above the wax ring and unstick it from the bottom of the toilet. Placed new wax ring, reinstalled toilet and tested several times found no leaks. Caulked the bottom of the toilet to the floor. Please allow 4 to 5 hours for this to dry. Arrived at residence with specialty part for waterworks shower. Removed handle and uninstalled old parts. Installed new part and tested showers back to normal working operation. Arrived at residence for a clogged toilet. Upon investigation found that a sponge had been flushed and is lodged inside the toilet. Cut off water to the toilet and removed toilet. Augured out the sponge and removed. Reinstalled toilet and tested for leaks. Found none toilet has been recently caulked. Please do not use for 2 to 3 hours. Arrived at residence for leaking garbage disposal. Upon investigation found that garbage disposal has failed due to age and rusting of interior body. Removed old garbage disposal and replaced with new badger disposal. Ran disposal and water for several minutes checked for leaks and found none. Everything is working with normal operation. Arrived at residence for leaking Insta hot underneath sink. Upon investigation found that tank had failed on install hot. Cut off water to unit and removed tank. Left faucet in countertop as homeowner is going to try to get a replacement tank. Leaving estimate for homeowner for when they acquire the new tank. Arrived at residence for clogged laundry line. Upon investigation found that is the line that connects the laundry in the sink to the main. Decided to try to flex shaft the line from where the PVC laundry line enters the main cast-iron line right after the sink. Popped up in line and drained, and then proceeded to flex shaft with 2 inch chains s first and was able to clear to the main. Next tried the 3 inch chain but was unable to get it started in the pipe at any section. Reconnected everything tested for leaks found none. Ran water for several minutes and water was able to drain. If clog happens again, the next step is replacement of the pipe as quoted. Some of the flex shaft price will be credited towards the service. Arrived at residence to install two customer supplied toilets. Cut both toilets off and drained. Removed both older toilets and installed new toilets. Hooked back up to water and tested for leaks. Found none. Tested both toilets several different times each. Both toilets are back to normal operation and will be ready for use in about 3 to 4 hours. Arrived at residence to perform quoted work of installing new hot water heater. Shut off water to home and then drained down the system. Drained down old hot water heater and then removed. Installed new 50 gallon gas hot water heater and connected new piping. Installed new thermal expansion tank. Cut water back on the home and tested for leaks. Found none connected gas to hot water heater and installed new gas shut off valve. Fired up heater and tested. Everything is working with normal operations. Arrived at residence for leak under the house. Upon investigation found that some type of critter had chewed through the waterline. Cut out section of pipe that could be chewed through again, and replace with copper piping. Turned the water back on, and tested found no leaks. Please monitor the area as there is still a section that some type of critter can chew through. Providing other estimates as requested by the homeowner. Arrived at residence and performed quoted work of installing new flange on previously installed PVC. Then installing new Kohler highline toilet. Installed toilet and tested found No leaks. Arrived at residence to perform quoted work of installing stop valves on previously installed copper lines. Cut water off to home. Drained system and installed stop valves. Cut water back on home. Arrived at residence to investigate smell coming from shower drain. Upon investigation was unable to fully determine what is causing the smell of chemicals. Put a small dose of Bio one down the line and ran water to clear it. Smell dissipated for now and recommend homeowner keep an eye or nose on it for a few days to see if that fixes it. Arrived at residence to install a Flo by Moen device and to change out two toilet stop valves. Shut down water to home and drained. Removed old stop valves and replaced with new 1/4 turn valves. Cut into main water line in utility closet and installed the Flo by Moen. Connected to power. Turned water back on and tested. Found no leaks and everything is working with normal operation. Setup Flo with homeowner and got device registered. Device has entered two week learning period and may cutoff randomly as it isn’t familiar with your water habits yet. Arrived at residence for leaking P-trap under master bathroom sink. Upon investigation, found that sink possibly had leaked previously and someone had caulked around the top where the trap needs to sink. Removed the old caulking and caulked with new clear caulking. Arrived at residence for leaking temperature and pressure gauge on hot water heater. Upon investigation found that the 40 gallon gas hot water heater is 27 years old. The heater is also leaking at the bottom. True plumbing recommends a replacement with a new 50 gallon gas heater. Customer would also like a 1/2 cutoff valve replaced on garage hose spigot. Arrived at residence for leaking pipe under house. Upon investigation, I found that old copper reducer was leaking at the solder joint. Removed old solder joints, and T joint and replaced with new pro press fittings. Cut water on the house and tested found no leaks. Pipes are back to normal operation and hose bib is working well. Arrived at residence for a leak in the basement. Proceeded to check all lines and waste pipe for anything leaking in downstairs apartment. Was unable to find anything in the downstairs. However, when searching the upstairs, found a leaking bidet line that was leaking and dripping behind the toilet, and down into the basement. It is my belief that this was the cause of the leaking, and that the dripping should stop in a few hours once the water is dissipated. DD line was tightened in the leak was stopped. Arrived at residence for leaking sink. Upon investigation found that the hot side of the sink is leaking from the packing nut. Tightened packing nut and tested. The leak is no longer appearing.
