Arrived at residence for non-stopping toilet. Upon investigation found that fill valve had failed. When going to shut off the valve found that toilet cut off had failed. Shut water down to home and drained. Replaced cut off with new and replaced fill valve. Cut water back on the home and tested found No leaks. Toilet is working with normal operation. Pressure is sitting at a safe 55 psi for the home. Homeowner asked me to investigate the other toilets and shut off’s. Toilet shut off in the adjoining bathroom has failed and is not working. Laundry room toilet and master bathroom toilet both could use rebuild kits in the future. All other toilets and stop valves are working with normal operation. Hot water recirculation pump seems to be worn and if hasn’t already failed could fail soon. Investigated the option of the tankless, however do the location of the hot water heaters tankless does not appear to be best option for the home. Would recommend replacement with same type of heaters c

Arrived at residence for leaking showerhead. Upon investigation found that previously installed cartridge came damaged from the factory. Installed a new cartridge. Arrived at residence for toilet tank leaking. Upon investigation found that three screws holding the tank to the bowl had become loose. Tighten up screws and tested several times. Found no leaks. Arrived at residence for replacing a hose bib. Customer wanted frost free hose bib replaced with regular half-inch hose bib. Customer supplied half-inch hose bib. Shut down water to existing bib and pulled existing out of wall. Cut copper and installed new hose bib. Pushed back into wall and supported from inside. Siliconed the exterior so that nothing may enter and hose bib will be stable. Please allow 3 to 4 hours for silicone to dry before use. Turned on water and tested for leaks. Found none. Once silicone is dry hose bib will be ready for normal operation. Please remember to turn off water during the winter months to the bibs so they do not freeze. Arrived at residence to install customer supplied laundry room faucet. Removed old laundry room faucet, and installed new laundry room single hole Moen faucet. Cut water back on and tested unit found no leaks and faucet is working with normal operation. While working on faucet noticed that sink is coming apart from countertop. Recommend having a handyman or countertop company reinstall sink. While at property homeowner mentioned high water bill. Investigated all toilets in the house. Four of the six toilets were having issues. Two downstairs toilets needed replacement ring seals. One toilet upstairs needed a 3 inch flapper and the main culprit of water usage was a broken fill valve in the boys bathroom. Shut off water to toilet and removed old fill valve and installed new fill valve. Cut water back on. Tested for leaks. Found none. All four toilet issues have been resolved. Arrived at residence for clogged upstairs toilet. Upon investigation determined auger would be best case solution. Augured toilet until water was able to flow freely. Continued augering more just to make sure anything was pushed out. Tested toilet several times and toilet is working with normal operation. Arrived at residence for leaking hose spigots. Upon investigation, found that left side house hose bib needed insides replaced. Cut off water from inside and pulled apart hose bib. Replaced all washers in spring inside and reinstalled. Tested and found no leaks. Hose spigot is working with normal operation. Arrived at residence for leaking shower. Upon investigation determined that it was the cold water cartridge. Used stops on shower to turn off water and removed cartridge. Replaced with new American standard cartridge. Cut back on water and tested. Found now leaks and shower is working with normal operation. House pressure is sitting at a safe 55 psi. Arrived at residence to investigate toilet flange. In my investigation found that toilet flange was just an old lead flange which might look strange, but is perfectly normal and acceptable for age of pipes. Arrived at residence to investigate laundry room sewer gas smell. Upon investigation was unable to determine a root cause. We recommended running a smoke test to further solve the issue. Arrived at residence for broken shower handle. Upon investigation found that old cartridge had snapped. Removed price Fister cartridge and replaced with new. Reinstalled shower handle and cut water back on the home. Ran water and tested fixture. Fixture is back to normal operation. When running water noticed lots of sediment in the line and weak water pressure. Investigated and tested pressure. Found pressure at 40 psi with massive pressure drops when another fixture is used. The homes pressure reducing valve has failed. Also found out the homes main line is galvanized pipe. It is our recommendation to fully replace the line at the same time as the PRV to aid with the houses pressure issues. Created a quote for a new water service to the home. Arrived at residence to investigate leaking toilet. Upon investigation, determined that water had gotten trapped between tiles and either deposited minerals into the tiles to darken them or created microbial growth underneath. Flushed the toilet about 12 times trying to yield any sort of moisture. Was unable to find anything. At this time it is not my believe the toilet is not leaking, but that the tiles are stained. I recommend customer call Reliable Restoration (678-325-1633) so that they may perform moisture and thermal testing for a piece of mind. Arrived at residence to perform quoted work on icemaker line. Shut down and removed old ice maker line. Added new, braided line and stop valve up top, back behind fridge. Reconnected to water and turned on water. Checked for leaks. Found none. Icemaker line is good and ready for Home Depot to come and install fridge. Arrived at residence for a leak in the yard. In my investigation I found that the ground is extremely saturated and that there is a leak somewhere on the main line. Landlord opted in for digging option in order to try to find the leak. Started digging at the highest and most saturated point and followed the leak. Unfortunately, at a certain point of following it, the ground is so saturated that it made it look like the leak was coming from five different directions. With this it is my best opinion that the owner call National Leak Detection (404-579-1188) and have them come locate the leak as soon as possible. Arrived at residence for toilet leaking. Upon investigation determined the water seen was the clear caulking at the bottom of the toilet. Tested toilet for leaks and found no moisture. Leak in ceiling of entry way is possibly due to toilet leaking before. Customer is advised to keep a eye on it and to use fixtures frequently to see if damage grows. Arrived at residence and performed tankless flush. Powered down tankless and cut off water supplies, opened up service ports and connected hoses. Ran solution through tankless for an hour. Use of flex shaft to clear PVC line of grease . Discount applied for already used tub gun. Arrived at residence and performed quoted work of clearing kitchen sink drain line. Line was able to be cleared using flex shaft. Removed stoppages of grease and pulled back most of it while the other was dislodged and pushed into the main. Arrived at customers home to perform flush of AO smith tankless. Used tankless solution and flushed system for 1 hour. Cleared system and returned to service. Arrived at residence for non-draining kitchen sink. Upon investigation was able to determine that kitchen sink line is clogged further down the line by organic matter and grease. Will have to return with flex shaft at a later date in order to try to remedy the situation. However, flex shaft is not a guaranteed fix and kitchen drain pipe replacement might be needed. Tub gun was ran up to 20 feet and pulled back grease. Discount will be applied to next services. Arrived at residence for leaking garbage disposal. Upon investigation found that garbage disposal had internally failed and was not repairable. Went with a replacement of a 1/2 horsepower garbage disposal. Removed old garbage disposal and replaced with new. Cleared electrical line of water and then hooked up disposal.
