Responded to complaint of sewer odor in bathroom at rear of building. Upon inspection, discovered deteriorated wax ring seal at toilet base allowing sewer gases to escape into living space. Removed and replaced faulty wax ring seal, reset toilet to proper position, and tightened mounting bolts to manufacturer specifications.
