Kyle did a great job to fix our leaked shower drain and replaced the pipe!! Our house was old so it took him more work and time (though a bit extra charge) to get it repaired. He did an excellent job and explained and answered many of our questions. I will recommend him to everyone who needs a plumber!

Responded to a non-functioning toilet complaint and performed diagnostic inspection of the bathroom plumbing system. Upon arrival, examined the toilet fixture, water supply connection, and associated components including the flexible supply line, wall-mounted shut-off valve, and tank assembly. Inspected the home's water pressure system by checking the pressure gauge on the water heater, which indicated approximately 20 psi. Documented the condition of all plumbing fixtures, connections, and pressure regulation equipment through photographic records for service documentation purposes.
Accessed ceiling cavity to locate and assess reported drain line issue. Upon inspection, identified damaged drain pipe with visible water staining and deterioration. Discovered significant water damage to surrounding wooden structural framing, including advanced rot on support beams. Repaired damaged drain line section and verified proper drainage flow. Documented existing structural damage from previous water intrusion for customer awareness. Restored ceiling access opening upon completion of drain repair work.
Responded to customer concern regarding potential water leak noticed under open sheetrock the previous week. Conducted thorough inspection of bathroom plumbing fixtures including vanity sink with dual-handle faucet assembly and bathtub faucet/spout assembly. Visually examined all accessible chrome plumbing fixtures, supply lines, and drain connections for signs of active leakage, moisture accumulation, or water damage. No active leaks were detected at time of inspection at either the vanity or tub fixtures. Documented current condition of plumbing installations with photographs for customer records.
Responded to customer complaint of sewage odor in basement. Conducted inspection of basement plumbing system and located sewer access cover in concrete floor. Documented existing conditions including sewage ejector pump assembly with visible signs of deterioration, moisture damage, and organic buildup around the installation area. Photographed access point showing PVC discharge piping penetrating through corroded metal cover with accumulated debris and staining patterns indicating potential drainage issues. Assessed pump housing condition and surrounding floor area showing extensive water damage and discoloration. Provided customer with findings and recommendations for line snaking service to address potential blockage causing odor infiltration into living space.
Conducted site assessment for gas line extension to pool area and provided estimate for water heater replacement. Inspected existing gas meter installation and piping infrastructure on exterior brick wall, documenting current system configuration with multiple branch lines and connections. Evaluated gas pressure at interior copper piping using calibrated pressure gauge to verify system capacity for potential additional load requirements.
Provided estimate for installation of iSpring WGB32B-KS three-stage whole house water filtration system. Assessed existing plumbing configuration, including water heater pressure gauge reading and main water line connections. Reviewed customer-purchased filtration unit specifications, which includes sediment reduction, chlorine/chloramine removal, and heavy metals filtration including lead and PFAS compounds.
Responded to report of garbage disposal leaking from top. Upon inspection, identified leak originating from upper mounting assembly where disposal connects to sink flange. Disassembled mounting ring and flange connection, finding deteriorated plumber's putty and loose mounting bolts causing water seepage during operation. Removed existing putty seal, cleaned all mating surfaces on sink flange and disposal mounting bracket, and applied fresh plumber's putty to create proper watertight seal. Reinstalled disposal unit, torqued mounting bolts to manufacturer specifications in proper sequence to ensure even compression of seal. Tested unit with running water and disposal operation to verify leak was eliminated and all connections remained secure under normal operating conditions.
Responded to water leak originating from under-sink plumbing that was migrating down the wall into the crawlspace below. Upon inspection, discovered the leak was actually related to compromised chimney structure in the attic space above, with deteriorated mortar joints and brick efflorescence indicating chronic moisture intrusion. The water was tracking down through the wall cavity from the roof level rather than originating at the sink location. Documented extensive weathering of chimney masonry, crumbling mortar, and water staining on adjacent wooden framing members. Photographed the compromised chimney-to-roof junction, deteriorated brick surfaces, and aged structural timber showing moisture damage. Identified that PVC vent pipes near the chimney appeared intact but the chimney itself requires masonry repair and waterproofing to prevent continued water infiltration into the living spaces below.
Installed Moen Flo smart water monitoring and shut-off system on main water supply line. Connected device to existing plumbing infrastructure with braided stainless steel supply lines and integrated shut-off valves at fixture locations beneath bathroom sink and toilet. System now provides real-time water usage monitoring and automatic leak detection with remote shut-off capability.
Removed and replaced 18-year-old 40-gallon gas water heater with new A.O. Smith ProMax unit. Installation included proper connection of copper supply lines, gas line hookup, pressure relief valve installation, and mounting of expansion tank. Configured all shut-off valves, verified proper venting, and installed drain pan at base for leak protection. Unit leveled and secured, all connections tested for leaks and proper operation.
Conducted estimate for Moen Flo water monitoring system installation on existing copper supply line system with current 3M whole house water filtration. Customer also requested assessment and recommendations for replacing flexible toilet supply lines with more durable hard pipe connections to improve longevity and reduce potential leak risks.
Responded to service call for slow-draining downstairs bathtub. Successfully snaked the tub drain and removed significant accumulation of hair and debris causing the blockage. Also performed proactive inspection of upstairs plumbing fixtures and evaluated water heater pressure relief valve as requested; no active issues identified with upstairs plumbing at time of inspection.
# Service Completed Responded to customer report of brown water discoloration at all faucets throughout the residence. Upon arrival, conducted comprehensive inspection of the plumbing system to identify the source of sediment contamination. Examined the Rinnai tankless water heater installation and associated components. Inspected system pressure monitoring equipment, including pressure gauge assembly mounted on brass manifold fittings showing proper PSI readings. Verified water heater was operating at set temperature of 120°F as displayed on digital control panel. Assessed all incoming and outgoing water lines, including copper gas supply lines, PEX water distribution piping, and PVC exhaust venting. Documented current system configuration with photographs showing pressure gauge assembly with dual needle indicators, brass manifold connections with isolation valves, and complete tankless water heater installation including wall mounting, utility connections, and exhaust termination
Replaced malfunctioning pressure reducing valve (PRV) in utility room near water heater to restore proper water pressure regulation throughout the property. Repaired leaking toilet by servicing the fill valve mechanism and internal tank components, eliminating water waste and restoring proper flush operation.
Conducted follow-up inspection of under-sink plumbing installation completed during previous service visit. Verified proper operation of P-trap drainage system, water supply line connections, and shut-off valves, with photographic documentation confirming all components remain secure and functional with no active leaks detected.
Responded to report of water leak in kitchen ceiling below recently renovated bathroom. Upon arrival, utilized thermal imaging camera to scan affected ceiling area and identify moisture intrusion patterns. Thermal scan revealed temperature anomalies consistent with active water penetration in the vicinity of overhead plumbing fixtures. Accessed bathroom plumbing system from below to inspect drain lines and connections associated with sink installation. Visual inspection of exposed drain assembly and surrounding components showed no immediate signs of active leaking at time of service call, though moisture patterns detected by thermal imaging indicated recent water activity in the area requiring further monitoring or investigation of drain line integrity.

Responded to commercial location for reports of water staining on ceiling tiles and sewer odor in affected area. Upon arrival, conducted visual inspection of drop ceiling system and identified multiple ceiling tiles with active water damage and discoloration patterns indicating ongoing moisture intrusion. Removed damaged ceiling tile to access plenum space and investigate source of leak. Documented extensive water staining across multiple tiles in grid pattern, with yellowish-brown discoloration consistent with contaminated water or sewage backup. Photographed damage for documentation purposes. Advised customer that further investigation would be required to locate exact source of leak in plumbing system above ceiling, as visual inspection suggested potential drain line or waste line failure causing both moisture damage and odor issues.
