Thanks so much for your trust and your positive review! We hope we can be of service in the future!
A couple of years ago we contacted True after reading positive reviews about them. After calling them for our latest issue It is nice to see that they have maintained their reputation. The servicemen that worked our job, Matt, Ryan and Mack for the second visit were polite, knowledgeable and quick. True was extremely efficient in resolving our issue. In spite of an unpleasurable problem True is a pleasure to work with.

Customer states they are still not getting hot water consistently. Upon arrival, we tested the kitchen - water was getting hot and staying hot. Master bathroom shower and sinks are both getting hot and staying hot. Inspected the water heater. We did notice on the recirculating line, before the check valve, the recirculating line was warm, slightly colder than what it should be. Took apart the swing check valve and we see it is slightly open This can cause temperature fluctuations. We replaced the check valve under warranty. Should problems continue, Ryan Hanson will make a visit and see about next steps. Shower valve in master bathroom is a Briso thermostatic mixing valve. It’s possible that this valve is failing. Believe the part number is RP47201, however, we may have to disassemble to verify. Work today was done under warranty due to check valve failure.
Confirmed an active leak on the water service line. Turned water off from ball valve located inside the home. Then inspected water meter and confirmed it is indicating an active leak. Provided an estimate on water service replacement.
Main floor powder room - toilet was clogged with tissue. Used toilet auger and cleared soft tissue stoppage inside the trap of the toilet. Flushed several times and verified no issues. Upstairs master bathroom - disassembled ptrap under lavatory sink, removed hair built up inside the drain. Reassembled and tested, draining good..
In the basement bathroom - toilet is not draining and when the shower is in use, it’s gurgling from the toilet and backing up. Pulled the toilet in the basement bathroom. Used flex shaft machine to clear the stoppage. Once stoppage was cleared, inspected the line with a sewer camera. The basement plumbing is connected to a sewer ejector pump. The pump is operating as it should. The drain line from the basement bathroom to the sewer ejector basin is not installed properly. The drain line does not have proper slope from the bathroom to the pump basin. We also noticed a lot of dirt/rocks inside the pipe which is from when the drain was installed. We believe the dirt under and around the drain pipe was not properly covered and compacted. And due to the weight of the slab has caused the pipe to settle. Home is only a few years old and should not be having these type of issues. Due to the extreme back slope in the drain pipe, this basement bathroom is not useable. We also noticed the sewer
Performed camera inspection of sewer line for real estate transaction. Pulled toilet in basement bathroom. Inspected all the way to the main sewer line outside the property. Do not see any issues with sewer line at this time. Thermal expansion tank is not properly supported. Provided estimate to properly install. Upstairs hall bathroom bathtub is draining slow - provided estimate.
From inside the basement, cut out existing sewer line where it is exiting the home. We will then drill a new hole approximately 1’ higher than where it is currently existing the home. Install new pvc pipe through new wall penetration. From outside, excavate from the house to within 5’ of the existing cleanout near the street. We will have to remove plants, bushes, and also repair the water service line if it is hit. We will maintain minimal slope from the house to the 2nd cleanout. Depth at second cleanout is approximately 11’ deep. We will dig our new trench as low as we can to achieve slope. We will hydraulic cement repair foundation wall, however, it is recommended having a foundation company properly seal. Not responsible for removal/disposal of large bushes or any land scape repairs. If accepted, we will credit back the jetting charge.

Once system has been throughly drained new 3/4” PRV will be installed after main water shut off to properly located in garage. Connections will be made to current PEX piping. Upon arrival, water heater was actively leaking. Work completed as follows : Furnish and installed new 50 gallon electric water heater with new thermal expansion tank. Previous expansion tank was not supported. New thermal tank was installed with proper support per code. Restored water, had customer bleed air out of the system. Made sure all connections were leak free If there is a lack of pressure of pressure fluctuating, recommend replacing the regulator valve. Provided estimate to replace the regulator valve. We recommended replacing the regulator valve in April of this year. We cannot warranty the water heater or parts if this water pressure regulator valve is not replaced. Told this to the customer.
Repair sewer line near drive way. Sewer pipe is pvc and transitions to orangeburge pipe going under drive way. From the house to the driveway it is now all PVC pipe. Installed new cleanout near drive way. We were able to make a good connection to the orangeburge pipe, however, we cannot warranty any of the orangeburge pipe. Should the remainder sewer line fail, excavation or the drive way would be the next step. Customer paid via check,

From crawl space - remove test T cleanout. We will safely catch any water that escapes when doing so. Use the hydro jetter to clear the stoppage. Once stoppage is cleared use camera to inspect the sewer/drain line. We will also inspect the sewer line exiting the front of the home. We will then provide necessary estimates on do any additional repairs or drain cleaning.- Returned to complete proposed work. We located the sewer line outside the home in back yard. Dug up the cast iron pipe and removed a small section of pipe for an access point. From this point, we used the jetter and got the stoppage to drain. Inspected with camera and the cast iron pipe transitions to a concrete pipe, this is under the pool deck/patio. We reach a stopping point around where the stone grill counter is. We tried hydro jetting this spot for several hours. We’re unable to get passed this spot. We believe it’s a broken pipe. The water is draining, however, without verifying the cause of the stoppage we can
Proposal for the replacement of the exterior water distribution pipe.
Customer interested in replacing the sewer line. Due to the layout, and the landscaping, customer is interested in getting the sewer line replaced via bursting, or cured in place piping. We do not offer these type of services at this time. Provided verbal estimate for traditional excavation which would be between 8-10000. We would have to perform a camera inspection in order to provide firm estimate. Recommended Precision pipe lining. No charge per office staff.
Customers water heaters are from 2012. Water heater on the left is out, the pilot is not holding. Original plan was to cut and cap off the old heater. I decided to try and replace the thermocouple. After replacing, turned the hater back on and verified its holding a pilot light and the flame is still good. Appears the heater is working again. Due to the age, we cannot warranty repairs made. Provided estimate on new heaters.
Customer is experiencing a drain line stoppage occuring in bathroom connected to office on main floor. Went into the crawl space and determined where the drain lines are existing the house. After assessing, found this bathroom is connected to the kitchen drain line and possibly other drains in the home, and it is exiting towards the rear of the property. Due to the distance and the amount of turns in the pipe, we’re unable to get the equipment to reach the blockage, or outside the home. We flushed the toilet on the main floor hall way, while in the crawl space, and this drain line, amongst other drain lines in the home is exiting the front or the home. Appears to be draining with no issues. We will return on Monday to do additional camera and drain cleaning work.
Dig up grass in front of the water meter and expose connections to the meter it self. We will then horizontal drill (bore) new water service line from the meter, to the right side of the home. Drill new hole through foundation wall. Run new pipe in crawl space approximately 20’. New service line will be 1” copper pipe. Install new whole house shutoff valve and regulator valve. Add on for using all copper pipes. Restored water and verified no leaks. We appreciate your business and please let us know if you have any issues at all Water service from the street to the home is warrantied for as long as you own the home.
Customer experiencing water hammer from the washing machine. Customer already installed new water hammer arresters on the valves. Checked water pressure at 60 psi, however, it has a 20 lb drop when fixtures are running. This is indicative that the regulator valve is failing. Also noticed a lot of the exposed copper pipe is not supported at all in the basement/crawl space. Work completed as follows; Furnish and installed new 3/4” pressure regulator valve. Strapped and secured all accessible copper pipes in crawl space and basement. Restored water. Tested washing machine and there is still a slight water hammer. After diagnosing more, determined there appears to be an issue with the solenoid valve for the hot water inside the washing machine. It is causing a violent reaction every time the water is turned on and off. For this, we recommend contacting an appliance repair company to diagnose. Provided estimate on replacing water service line.
Provided estimate on water service replacement. If customer wants to install copper pipe, we would have to verify the exact price with our supply house, additional 1100 is a speculative estimate. No dispatch fee per office staff.
